Put forgiveness in your short game with the Cleveland CBX 2 Wedge, and give it even more style with the new Black Satin finish. It provides off-the-charts forgiveness thanks to a new Hollow-Cavity, while the Dynamic Sole boosts all-around versatility. The Cleveland CBX 2 is a forgiving, versatile wedge optimized for golfers who play cavity back irons.
A hollow chamber near the heel and a heavy weight in the toe maximizes MOI and perimeter weighting for unprecedented short game forgiveness.
Three different sole grinds, optimized by loft, deliver more versatility to execute any shot on the course.
Enhanced Feel Balancing Technology delivers a toe-bias center of gravity, while a Gelback TPU Insert reduces vibration. It all combines to deliver a pure feel at impact.
Fourth Generation Rotex Face technology delivers our sharpest Tour Zip Grooves and most aggressive face milling for maximum spin and short game control.
I have been eyeing this club for a while but had spent a bit too much on golf this season.
When my old cast 60 degree wedge failed on my last vacation, I decided it was time to look at this club again.
My old lob wedge was short on distance when I needed less than my sand wedge would deliver consistently and I thought that 58 deg would be perfect. I was not wrong.
Only one round on the new club yesterday but I had exactly what I needed in the bag. Oh, the spin from this thing! Hit and held 4 of the 4 greens I used it on yesterday.
I should have replaced my old wedge long ago...
Pros: Looks very similar to my set at address.
Cons: I should have bought it sooner...
My new CBX2 is the best looking wedge I've ever owned. Haven't had the chance to play it, but it feels great, looks better and I have no doubt it's going to improve my game.
We purchased the 56 degree wedge for my husband as a Christmas present. I got him a 50 degree graphite shaft wedge which he really likes and expressed an interest in the 56. He’s not getting it until Christmas and he probably won’t be able to use it until sometime next year. I am sure he will practise with it in the basement over the winter.
My husband already had a previous edition but not with the graphite shaft. He turned 70 this year and decided to try the graphite shaft wedge. He really likes it, I should say love and it has given him the distance he is looking for in between his other wedges.
