Put forgiveness in your short game with the Cleveland CBX 2 Wedge, and give it even more style with the new Black Satin finish. It provides off-the-charts forgiveness thanks to a new Hollow-Cavity, while the Dynamic Sole boosts all-around versatility. The Cleveland CBX 2 is a forgiving, versatile wedge optimized for golfers who play cavity back irons.
A hollow chamber near the heel and a heavy weight in the toe maximizes MOI and perimeter weighting for unprecedented short game forgiveness.
Three different sole grinds, optimized by loft, deliver more versatility to execute any shot on the course.
Enhanced Feel Balancing Technology delivers a toe-bias center of gravity, while a Gelback TPU Insert reduces vibration. It all combines to deliver a pure feel at impact.
Fourth Generation Rotex Face technology delivers our sharpest Tour Zip Grooves and most aggressive face milling for maximum spin and short game control.
Just bought a 52/56/60 to replace my set sand wedge which are cavity back as well.
Night and day improvement. I can actually get spin on the ball. Still some practice to do but I made a few shots I wouldn’t have even tried before. Would highly recommend. 30 handicap golfer.
OK. Living in a cold country and looking to replace an old gap wedge that didn't quite work given the loft on my Callaway pitching wedge. The gap on this works well with the other two wedges I have (52 and 58) and addresses the shots that I hope to finesse. That being said, there is still snow on the ground here, my course might open in a couple of weeks so I can't speak to how it will work in real life. In my own practice experience it does seem to do what I want but I need the on course experience to see if it can hit the consistent distance I want without too much spin ( from 120 yds I would still like a bit of release).
All of that being said .....the grip is one complete POS. Not sure what Cleveland was thinking but I have some ancient clubs I just passed off to a nephew that have better grips. I can't imagine a worse grip than what is provided. It pretty much guarantees very little control, the standard grip size is pretty much like a narrow grip. I am replacing it but would expect better from Cleveland who should know better unless their market is folks with tiny hands.
Love this wedge, performs well. quickly could get my desired shape shots I wanted with very little learning curve on this club.
Great wedge, used only once because courses are closed. Can’t wait to use it again soon.
I use Cleveland Wedge since I play. My SW was 15 years old and after looking at review I decide to go with newest technologies. What a change, easy to hit, very forginess and a lot of Backspin. I order the 60 deg Fullface lob wedge to change my 20 years RAW lob :-)
